Market Post Pro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website www.marketpostpro.com and the Market Post Pro Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using Market Post Pro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information solely to create and manage your account within Market Post Pro. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Vehicle Listing Data

When you use the Service to scrape vehicle listings, we collect and store the vehicle information you choose to save — including vehicle details (year, make, model, trim, price, mileage, VIN), images, and any descriptions or notes you add. This data is associated with your account and is used to power your listing history and posting features.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage information such as pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns. This data is used to improve the Service and does not identify you personally.

Chrome Extension

The Market Post Pro Chrome Extension accesses the content of dealer vehicle listing pages you visit in order to extract vehicle information at your request. The extension does not collect browsing history, does not run on pages you have not explicitly chosen to scrape, and does not transmit any data without your action.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your session
• Store and display your saved vehicle listings
• Generate AI-powered vehicle descriptions on your request
• Provide the Facebook Marketplace auto-fill feature
• Enable team management features for dealership stores
• Improve and maintain the Service
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Google Sign-In

Market Post Pro uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we request access only to your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture). We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google services.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, cloud-hosted servers. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Session authentication is handled via signed HTTP-only cookies, and all data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved vehicle listings for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual listings at any time from your History page. To request deletion of your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at the email address in Section 10. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

Market Post Pro uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Google OAuth — for secure authentication
• AI language models — for generating vehicle descriptions (only vehicle details such as year, make, model, and features are sent; no personal account data is included)
• Cloud database and storage providers — for storing your listings and uploaded images

These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party services.

7. Store and Team Data

If you use Market Post Pro as part of a dealership team, your account may be associated with a store managed by a designated manager. Your manager will have visibility into the vehicle listings you create, post, and sell through the platform — including listing status, timestamps, and posting history. This is an intentional feature of the team management system and is disclosed here for full transparency.

Managers do not have access to your Google account credentials, personal email inbox, or any data outside of Market Post Pro.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate information associated with your account.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
• Portability: You may request an export of your saved vehicle listing data in a common format.
• Opt-out: We do not sell personal information. There is nothing to opt out of with respect to data sales.

As a Canadian-based service, Market Post Pro is subject to the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial privacy legislation. Canadian residents may exercise the rights listed above under PIPEDA. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To submit any privacy rights request, contact us at the email address in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Market Post Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
